Now here was a challenge! Creating a Candy Crush style game from scratch, with highscore database and user registration.
I was considering Actionscript and getting it converted by Swiffy until Google decided to pull the plug on the whole Swiffy endeavour. What a shame! That must’ve taken hundreds of hours and was so nearly complete. I’m hoping Adobe might get involved and resurrect the project but I’m not holding my breath.
So… CreateJS once more. A bit of a learning curve but once that’s cracked, we’re off and running! Bross-browser support is wonderful and there’s lovely solid tablet/mobile performace too, always a bonus.
